"JOKE OF THE MONTH"
The rules are simple to win: No "xxx" jokes, sorry. Kit Menkin cannot win (relatives, friends and employees can enter and win). Please note, if in the decision of the judges there is no "best" joke, a previous month may be included, and like in horseshoes, there are no ties. Winners of previous months can also win a second or third time - There is no limit.

"Vasona Park Visit "
Three
little old Jewish ladies,after visiting the Los Gatos Jewish Community
Center on Oka Road, were sitting out on the Vasona Park bench happily
talking and laughing when a flasher came up to them and opened his trench
coat and stood right in front of them.
One little old lady had a stroke. Then the second lady
had a stroke. The third little old lady had arthritis and couldn't reach
that far.
This
is the second time Rosalie has won ( September, 1998).
I
changed the location of the church in the joke she originally
sent.
We had a tie in our joke panel and the final vote made
her
the winner.
She does not want us to use her last name as she is a retired
psychotherapist
from Los Gatos, California, who specialized
in
work with adolescents and families. Due to her previous profession,
she
has requested we not use her last name.
Rosalie
lives near the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor. She is still quite
active,
not only on the computer, her studies and reading, but likes to take
long walks, plus works out with weights and water aerobics five days
a week
at
the spa.
She
still belongs to and is a Board Member of many organizations. She
stays
in contact with her friends both on line and in person, and is recently
retired from a once very active practice.
Her
dog enjoys the jaunts around the neighborhood, as well as romping
around
with her two indoor cats.
Her
recent move is keeping her quite occupied with various building trades
contractors.
She is particularly looking forward to having her Native
plants
landscaping completed.
She
continues to find the "world of technology" quite
fascinating...especially
Email and the Internet, and hopes to be able to
learn
"how" to "easily" set up a personal web page.
Rosalie
passes on some very good jokes, although she does not like
"downloads,"
and is a member of the group we never send a "download"
graphic
or joke, as the download time via a phone modem is exceedingly long!
