Our old fireplace wood supplier retired. It took us several years to find someone who delivered a full cord with most of the wood split ( few rounds, if any ), mostly oak, and reasonably aged. We go through four cords a year, as we often burn wood in the summer, so finding the right supplier is important to us. Tony and his son will also stack it, if you don’t have someone to do this for you or don’t need the exercise.

This is basically for the San Francisco Bay Area, especially the Silicon Valley area. In the thirty some years of hiring "tree services," he is the best. He is the most economical. He cares about trees. He cleans up after he works. Does not destroy other trees or bushes. Is very knowledgeable. Does what he says he will do. Does gouge you.
