This is a Cafe-Wine Tasting-Store. We did not mind waiting for a table, actually got a booth, as we tasted some of Neibaum-Coppola's wine before our late lunch. We bought some wine, plus the wine manager was able to order us double magnum of Cabernet Franc from the winery. We also purchased a carafe ( like I need another one, but this had rounded edges and looked great for older wine ) and also wine glasses, and Champagne glasses. They were beautiful. We also bought some other things, and had a delicious meal. We have gone back a second time and even enjoyed it more. This is definitely a fun place with good food at reasonable prices, a very good wine list, and a chance to enjoy some of the best wine coming from Napa Valley.

The newspaper said the service was "slow." We didn't experience that. A wait for the table and the host and hostess were most gracious, a lot of personality. Greg Pussehl, the wine person, was very hospitable, helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and a pleasure to meet. Our waiter lived in San Francisco, and commuted here to work at Il Fornai, plus here, and for years was a head waiter at Dorio's in the City. He was very helpful with an old world personality. We had a great time, great food, and would recommend this place for an informal lunch, brunch, early dinner, or even dinner for two or four or more. A fun place.
