I go against the nature of this wine recommendation page as here is a place you cannot visit and their wine is "sold out" before it is released. In fact, several years ago I tried to get on the mailing list and they said there was a three year wait. Andy Gridley at Napa Wine Company says they are about to make their next release.

And while they say their wine retails for $50, I have never seen it in a store for less than $75 with $95 not being uncommon for the latest release. I have seen the "lower end" Jayson label for $50.

I recommend this today because they are about to have a new release. The wine is highly allocated. You may luck out and find one. It is worth the money. It is not just hype.

Their wine is highly allocated to previous customers, restaurants, and wine wholesalers. It sells very, very quickly from the shelf, primarily to preferred customers.
