I personally have been buying from this store since the late 1960's, as they were the first to sell cases of wine and liquor below the controlled retail price in California. The law has changed, and their emphasis is more on wine than ever before. They have connections and are grandfathered in to many wines that are quite allocated and difficult to find at reasonable prices.

Sue doesn't let me go here very much as I bought too much wine, but recently when I discovered I could order on line, it is another story.

If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, I suggest you order on line, but go to the store in Menlo Park and pick the wine up, plus learn what else they have. You might even want to go to Beltramo's down the street…but I suggest you arrive in a large vehicle and by yourself, so you can go "wild."
