Their 1999 Rosa Lee Pinot Noir, Carneros is outstanding. Their Carneros Pinot   I have been drinking  since the early 1970’s. Along with Dr. David Bruce and earlier Robert Mondavi reserves, this was the best red wine to come from California. It does not have the “people wine” flavor of Bordeaux, which I also love, it has a California fruit, better than made in Burgundy under the wine making ability of Norman de Leuze.

 

This is a true Napa Valley wine family, also very much interested in food;

real people.
